The administrative and academic staff of the Vocational School of Information Technologies paid a courtesy visit to Prof. Dr. Ali Gezer, who has been appointed as the Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences. During the visit, congratulations were extended and best wishes were conveyed for his new position. It was also expressed that his term of office would be productive and successful for both the academic community and the students.

During the visit, current developments in the field of information technologies, educational activities, and potential areas of cooperation to strengthen institutional collaboration were discussed. In particular, an exchange of views was held on increasing students’ opportunities for practical training, enhancing industry collaborations, and implementing joint projects.

The professor, to whom thanks were extended for his kind hospitality, expressed his satisfaction with the visit and stated that the collaborations to be carried out with our institution would make significant contributions to both students’ professional development and academic studies.

Our institution continues its efforts with determination to strengthen collaboration with its stakeholders in the fields of education and technology and to contribute to the development of our students.
