Learning Outcomes of the Unmanded Vehicle Technician Program

1. Define the building blocks, subsystems, functions, and components of unmanned aerial, ground, and marine vehicles, and apply this knowledge in practical applications.

2. Recognize basic electronic circuits, sensors, and embedded system components, and perform hardware–software integration.

3. Develop systems and software using programming languages, algorithms, and flowcharts; demonstrate knowledge of the Internet of Things (IoT).

4. Apply and interpret artificial intelligence, machine learning, and image processing techniques in unmanned vehicle systems.

5. Design and analyze autonomous control, navigation, sensor fusion, and decision support systems; perform CAD designs.

6. Collect, clean, and analyze data, and use it in machine learning and decision support approaches; demonstrate mathematical, statistical, and analytical skills.

7. Acquire competencies in planning, implementing, and evaluating projects, internships, and field applications related to unmanned vehicles.

8. Communicate effectively in multidisciplinary teams and take responsibility in project management processes.

9. Act in accordance with occupational health and safety, cybersecurity, environmental protection, quality standards, and ethical principles; contribute to the development of sustainable technologies.

10. Follow technological innovations, adapt to emerging technologies, and demonstrate entrepreneurship and lifelong learning awareness.

11. Possess effective communication skills, the ability to work in teams, and sufficient proficiency in Turkish and a foreign language (English) to follow developments in the field; develop analytical and critical communication skills by considering different perspectives on historical events.
