A meeting was held to open a program.

The Vocational School of Information Technologies held a meeting, chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Taşyürek, to identify new programs. Deputy directors, academics, and administrative staff attended the meeting.

At the meeting, detailed evaluations were made of the planned new programs, taking into account the sector's current needs and future employment opportunities. The primary goal of these evaluations was to provide students with high-quality educational opportunities tailored to current needs and to facilitate their integration into the workforce after graduation.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Taşyürek emphasized that artificial intelligence is one of the most important areas of the future, saying, "With the departments we plan to open, we aim to train competent professionals who can effectively manage, develop, and troubleshoot artificial intelligence systems. This will ensure our students have a strong start to their professional lives after graduation."

With the contributions of academics, topics such as the department's curriculum, laboratory facilities, and sectoral collaborations were discussed in detail. In line with the decisions taken at the end of the meeting, the Artificial Intelligence Operations Department, which has accepted students for the first time, is expected to further strengthen our university's position in the field of science and technology.
